The Hyṛdayopāya program is a spiritual voyage to discover the Divine Presence within and around each of us. It will give you a deep dive into a transformative spiritual practice that can fundamentally change your experience in life.
Hyṛdayopāya is designed for those newer to Nathaji's more advanced teachings — especially for those who have not participated his retreats or immersions. To ensure direct interaction with everyone, the size of the group will be limited to 50 people. (The initial presentations in Nov/Dec have unlimited enrollment.)
It is important to Nathaji that these teachings are accessible to all who wish to receive them, so he is offering this incredible program offering to you at no charge — although you can make a value-based donation if you feel to contribute.

With a mastery etched from over five decades of disciplined inner practice and selfless service, Nathaji is an authentic adept in the Śakti Transmission Lineage of Bhagavān Nityānanda and Swami Rudrānanda. His study of the Śaiva Tantra wisdom-teachings provides a means to articulate the teachings of his lineage within the context of nondual traditions — while emphasizing the essence of his teachings: to empower students to discover their own innate divinity. As a householder he understands how to live a deep spiritual life while engaged in daily life, family, and the pressures of living in the world. He is a true example of the lived expression of his teachings, having spent his entire adult lifetime in service to God, Guru, and community.

In this year-long program, you will experience the unfoldment of individual consciousness through energy practices, developing your ability to function from a new place. This gives you the capacity for immersion into stillness and awareness practices — ultimately establishing you in the state of Unity, in which you abide in the OneSelf. The Sessions outlined below will take you through the Upāyas, which are the progressive means of discovering your Highest Self as taught in the most advanced of the nondual Śaiva Tantra traditions.
The engagement with Swami Khecaranatha on this journey can evoke the ultimate connection to Source. Through your own direct experience and recognition, the study of wisdom teachings, and extensive interaction with an authentic master of nondual tradition and Kuṇḍalinī Sādhana, you can find embodied liberation in this lifetime.

Teachings on Nondual Śaiva Tantra: The View, Practices, and Lived Expression of Spiritual Growth
Nathaji will elaborate on the key aspect specific to each of the Five Sessions listed below. These will be offered in a series of 90-120 minute live zoom meetings (also available on-demand), scheduled approximately every other week. There will be about eight meetings in each main Session.
Practices & Integration Period
As part of these Five Sessions Nathaji will be giving additional guided meditations and a set of powerful vākyas (statements of truth with mantras) for you to practice to fully incorporate the teachings into your daily life.
Reflection and Inquiry
The teachings and practice sessions will be followed by two Sunday one-hour zoom meetings with Nathaji and the community for further learning.

Darśana: The View of Nonduality
The Secret is in the Heart
The essential view of nondual Tantric practice is that God is One—transcendent as the Source of all existence and ever-present in every level of creation. When we understand the implications of that teaching in our own lives, everything is transformed. We realize we are not separate from God, and then we choose to engage in a practice that will enable us to actualize that understanding.

Open The Heart To Feel God
Sādhana is the search for our Self in the Heart of God and the discovery of God inside our own Heart. Learning to truly open our heart and tune in to the flow of energy in our central channel is central to our growth. As we open, reach inside, and establish ourselves in the Heart, we live and act from love.

Śāktopāya: The Path of Energy & Insight
Surrender Into the Heart to Merge with God
In this phase of our practice, we learn to tune in to the energy (śākti) within. Through insight, we can convert misperception and thought-construct into a deeper internalized current and expanded awareness. Through surrender to that power, we let go of all struggle and attune ourselves to what life is offering to us — the knowledge and capacity to live life as an expression of God’s joy and freedom.

Ten Day Immersion - Kuṇḍalinī Śakti
The Liberating Power of the Goddess is the Innate Intelligence of Embodied Consciousness.
May Kuṇḍalinī, the power which manifests the universe, bestow on you the floods of her cosmic joy, flashing up from her source, one with the vast and sublime illumination perceived in her radiance, causing the six cakras to vibrate, arousing in awareness the sweet resonance produced by her passage, imparting satiation as she attains union with the Lord in the thousand-petalled lotus, stable [yet] pervading the universe. ~Swami Lakshman Joo (LMJ) translated by Alexis Sanderson and Christopher Wallis.

Śāmbhavopāya: The Path of Awareness
The Heart is Where We Become One With God
The supreme joy of liberation comes when we experience that the universe is not different from our own Self. We have merged our individual consciousness into God's Consciousness. But it is not enough to go inside and experience that bliss and fullness of being in you meditation. That realization must be our natural state as we engage daily life.

Anupāya: The Pathless Path
God is The Heart of it All
Through the flooding of insight we recognize the One Self and are left in a state of pure Being. Experiencing the subtle pulsation of Pure Consciousness is not an action but the effortless easing of awareness back into the innermost core of the Heart — the luminous, radiating resonance of Primordial Presence.
November 2 - December 14, 2025
Ten Day Immersion — The Heart of Recognition
In this program conclusion Nathaji will explore the wisdom and practices of an essential Tantric scripture, The Pratyabhijñā-hṛdayam. Written by the sage Kṣhemarāja, the title means “The Essence of the Recogniton,” and the text reveals the process through which Divine Consciousness becomes the world of manifest forms and then delights in the recognition of Itself, as our own individuated consciousness.
Immersion Practices & Integration
The immersion will be followed by zoom sessions with Nathaji to help you integrate and embody the teachings of the programs.

Our Hawaii Retreat Center
Nityākash is a stunning 3+ acre property on the island of Maui that serves as a permanent retreat facility for our community and Nathaji's residence. Nityākash is named for our root guru Bhagavān Nityānanda, whose energy permeates the land. A life-size statue of Nityānanda installed in the meditation hall further enhances his energy and presence for all who attend immersions there. Nityākash is located near many beaches, waterfalls, and glorious forests.
