Hṛdayopāya - Sādhana of The Heart
In this program Swami Khecaranatha (Nathaji) will discuss with you the progression of our spiritual practices as we move through the phases of the transition from living in dualistic consciousness into the permanent experience of Unity.
It is possible to achieve spiritual liberation, and the upāyas are the means (spiritual practices) to that freedom. They offer multiple levels of practice from ritual to the highest, most refined meditations, giving us the capacity to transform our experience by focusing our consciousness as we ultimately uncover our Divine nature.

The Journey into the Already Awakened Heart.
The Heart, says Abhinavagupta [11th century Tantric master], is the very Self of Śiva, and of the Devī, the Goddess who is inseparable from Śiva. Indeed, the Heart is the site of their union in full embrace. This abode is pure consciousness as well as unlimited bliss. As consciousness, the Heart is the unbounded, infinite light (prakāśa) as well as the freedom (svātantrya) and spontaneity (vimarśa) of that light to appear in a multitude and variety of forms. The Heart is the Ultimate (anuttarā) which is both utterly transcendent to and yet totally immanent in all created things. It is the ultimate essence. The Heart is the Unbounded and Universal Self. –Paul Ortega-Muller in his book, The Triadic Heart of Siva.
